It brings 26 total network ports, laid out as 24xFast EthernetRJ-45 and 2xGigabit EthernetExpansion Module, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. Beyond the base ports, there's Expansion Module expansion for uplinks. With 2 (MB) of onboard flash, firmware and configuration backups don't depend on a remote server. As a Layer 2 switch, it focuses on fast MAC-address forwarding and VLAN segmentation rather than routing. For installation, it's rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, compatible with standard 19-inch racks, runs on ac input power, and moves air standard front-to-back airflow for straightforward rack cooling.
