- HP ProCurve 2824 (J4904A#0D1) shows up a lot in shortlists for network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks, and for good reason. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers.
