This model fits data center and server-room deployments: virtualization hosts, NAS and SAN backbones, render farms and AI/ML training nodes that move large volumes of data between servers. It also works well as an aggregation switch feeding traffic up from access-layer switches. Wiring is handled by 26 total network ports, laid out as 24xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 2xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC), topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port.
