  • HP FlexNetwork 3600 48 PoE+ v2 EI (JG302C#AC4) is built to handle campus networks and multi-floor offices with dense wireless AP and VoIP deployments without drama. Campus IT teams, schools and offices deploying wireless APs and IP cameras at scale get the most from this one, since power and data ride the same cable. It has enough headroom for some virtualization or NAS traffic on the same switch too. It brings 54 total network ports, laid out as 48xFast EthernetPoE+,RJ-45 and 4xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC),Uplink/Stacking and 2xGigabit EthernetRJ-45,Uplink/Stacking, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. Built-in PoE+ power delivery runs access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones straight off the switch, cutting down on wall adapters. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. Beyond the base ports, there's SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. With 128 (MB) of onboard flash, firmware and configuration backups don't depend on a remote server. Mounting is straightforward: rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, standard 19-inch rails, ac input power, and standard front-to-back airflow that lines up with typical rack airflow planning. Also, built-in console access makes setup and firmware recovery easier; twisted pair,optical fiber media over SFP (mini-GBIC) covers both copper and fiber runs.
