  • HP FlexNetwork 3600 48 PoE+ v2 EI (JG302C#AKM) is a strong, no-nonsense fit for enterprises rolling out PoE access points, IP cameras and phones across large floors. It's a good match for IT teams standardizing wiring closets across a campus, schools and offices deploying wireless APs at scale, and security teams running IP camera networks that need power and data on one cable. Facilities with virtualization or NAS traffic riding the same switch will also benefit from the extra headroom. Wiring is handled by 54 total network ports, laid out as 48xFast EthernetPoE+,RJ-45 and 4xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC),Uplink/Stacking and 2xGigabit EthernetRJ-45,Uplink/Stacking, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. On top of that, it has SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 128 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. PoE+ support means powered endpoints - APs, cameras, phones - plug straight into the switch without extra adapters. Layer 3 support means it routes between VLANs on its own rather than forwarding everything to an upstream router. Mounting is straightforward: rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, standard 19-inch rails, ac input power, and standard front-to-back airflow that lines up with typical rack airflow planning.
