- HP FlexNetwork 3600-24-PoE+ v2 SI (JG306C#ABA) is the switch IT teams supporting schools and universities powering classroom APs and phones at scale often turn to when they need something that just works. It has enough headroom for some virtualization or NAS traffic on the same switch too. Wiring is handled by 30 total network ports, laid out as 24xFast EthernetPoE+,RJ-45 and 4xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC),Uplink and 2xGigabit EthernetRJ-45,Uplink, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. Built-in PoE+ power delivery runs access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones straight off the switch, cutting down on wall adapters. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. It also adds SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks.
