  • HP OfficeConnect 1420-24G (JG708B#AKM) is built to handle workgroups and small offices adding extra wired ports without extra configuration without drama. It's aimed at home offices, small businesses and workgroups that want extra reliable ports without the complexity of VLANs or CLI configuration - plug it in and it works. It brings 24 total network ports, laid out as 24xGigabit EthernetRJ-45, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. Layer 2 switching keeps things fast and simple: MAC-address forwarding and VLAN segmentation. It also adds a fixed-port design that keeps configuration simple. A built-in 1 (MB) of flash storage holds firmware images and config backups on the switch itself. Mounting is straightforward: desktop-friendly, in a 1U footprint, standard 19-inch rails, ac input power, and standard front-to-back airflow that lines up with typical rack airflow planning.
