It brings 52 total network ports, laid out as 48xGigabit EthernetPoE+,RJ-45 and 2x10 Gigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 2x10 Gigabit EthernetSFP+, topping out at 10GbE per port. With PoE+ on board, APs, cameras and VoIP phones can draw power directly from the switch instead of separate injectors. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. It also adds SFP+ expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 128 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch.
