It brings 16 total network ports, laid out as 16xGigabit EthernetRJ-45, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. It rounds this out with a fixed-port design that keeps configuration simple. A built-in 1 (MB) of flash storage holds firmware images and config backups on the switch itself. Layer 2 switching keeps things fast and simple: MAC-address forwarding and VLAN segmentation. On the compatibility side, it's desktop-friendly, in a 1U footprint, a 19-inch rack fit, takes ac input power, and uses standard front-to-back airflow to match common data-center airflow layouts.
