  • HP OfficeConnect 1850-24G-2XGT (JL170A#AC3) is a solid pick for network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks that don't want to overthink the network layer. This model fits data center and server-room deployments: virtualization hosts, NAS and SAN backbones, render farms and AI/ML training nodes that move large volumes of data between servers. It also works well as an aggregation switch feeding traffic up from access-layer switches. Port-wise, it offers 26 total network ports, laid out as 26xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 2x10 Gigabit EthernetRJ-45, topping out at 10GbE per port.
