- HP Aruba 2930F 48G 4SFP (JL260A#AKJ) is built to handle network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks without drama. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. It also works well aggregating traffic from smaller access-layer switches. Wiring is handled by 52 total network ports, laid out as 48xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 4xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC),Uplink, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. It rounds this out with SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. Firmware and configuration live in onboard non-volatile memory, surviving reboots and power cycles. Layer 3 support means it routes between VLANs on its own rather than forwarding everything to an upstream router.
