Wiring is handled by 26 total network ports, laid out as 24xGigabit EthernetPoE+,RJ-45 and 2xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC), topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. On top of that, it has SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 64 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. With PoE+ on board, APs, cameras and VoIP phones can draw power directly from the switch instead of separate injectors. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router.
