- HP Aruba CX 8325-32C (JL627AR#ABA) is the switch IT teams supporting network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks often turn to when they need something that just works. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. It also works well aggregating traffic from smaller access-layer switches. It brings 32 total network ports, laid out as 32x100 Gigabit EthernetQSFP28, topping out at 100GbE per port. Layer 3 routing handles inter-VLAN traffic and static or dynamic routes on the switch itself. It also adds QSFP28 expansion for uplinks. With 8 (GB) of onboard flash, firmware and configuration backups don't depend on a remote server. For installation, it's rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, compatible with standard 19-inch racks, runs on ac input power, and moves air rear-to-front airflow for straightforward rack cooling. Also, built-in console access plus a USB port makes setup and firmware recovery easier; optical fiber media over QSFP28 covers both copper and fiber runs.
