- HP Aruba CX 8360-12C v2 (JL709C) is the switch IT teams supporting network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks often turn to when they need something that just works. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. It also works well aggregating traffic from smaller access-layer switches. Wiring is handled by 12 total network ports, laid out as 12x100 Gigabit EthernetQSFP28, topping out at 100GbE per port. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. It also adds QSFP28 expansion for uplinks.
