On the port side, you get 24 total network ports, laid out as 24x16 Gigabit EthernetSFP+. As a Fibre Channel switch it handles SAN traffic at with low latency. Beyond the base ports, there's SFP+ expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 32 (GB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. On the compatibility side, it's rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, a 19-inch rack fit, takes ac input power, and uses rear-to-front airflow to match common data-center airflow layouts.
