- HP FlexNetwork 3600 24 SFP v2 EI (JG303A#ABB) is the switch IT teams supporting IT teams building out server, NAS and storage backbones often turn to when they need something that just works. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. It also works well aggregating traffic from smaller access-layer switches. Port-wise, it offers 30 total network ports, laid out as 24xFast EthernetSFP and 4xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC),Uplink/Stacking and 2xGigabit EthernetRJ-45,Uplink/Stacking, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. It also adds SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 128 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. Layer 3 routing handles inter-VLAN traffic and static or dynamic routes on the switch itself. For installation, it's rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, compatible with standard 19-inch racks, runs on ac input power, and moves air standard front-to-back airflow for straightforward rack cooling.
