  • HP Aruba CX 6100 12G Class4 PoE 2G/2SFP+ 139W (JL679A#ABB) is a solid pick for small business networks that want PoE without enterprise-scale port counts that don't want to overthink the network layer. Small offices, retail counters and branch sites with a handful of APs, cameras or VoIP phones are the sweet spot here - enough PoE to skip extra adapters without paying for enterprise scale. It brings 16 total network ports, laid out as 12xGigabit EthernetRJ-45,Class4 PoE and 2x10 Gigabit EthernetSFP+,Uplink and 2xGigabit EthernetRJ-45,Uplink, topping out at 10GbE per port. It rounds this out with SFP+ expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 16 (GB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. PoE support means powered endpoints - APs, cameras, phones - plug straight into the switch without extra adapters. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router.
