- HP Aruba CX 8360-12C v2 (JL709C#ABA) is the switch IT teams supporting network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks often turn to when they need something that just works. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. It also works well aggregating traffic from smaller access-layer switches. On the port side, you get 12 total network ports, laid out as 12x100 Gigabit EthernetQSFP28, topping out at 100GbE per port. On top of that, it has QSFP28 expansion for uplinks. A built-in 32 (GB) of flash storage holds firmware images and config backups on the switch itself.
