- HP Aruba CX 8360-24XF2C v2 (JL710C) is the switch IT teams supporting colocation and hosting environments packing dense server racks often turn to when they need something that just works. This model fits data center and server-room deployments: virtualization hosts, NAS and SAN backbones, render farms and AI/ML training nodes that move large volumes of data between servers. It also works well as an aggregation switch feeding traffic up from access-layer switches. Port-wise, it offers 26 total network ports, laid out as 24x10 Gigabit EthernetSFP+ and 2x100 Gigabit EthernetQSFP28, topping out at 100GbE per port. Layer 3 support means it routes between VLANs on its own rather than forwarding everything to an upstream router. It also adds QSFP28 expansion for uplinks.
