It brings 14 total network ports, laid out as 12xFast EthernetRJ-45 and 2xGigabit EthernetExpansion Module, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. As a Layer 2 switch, it focuses on fast MAC-address forwarding and VLAN segmentation rather than routing. Beyond the base ports, there's Expansion Module expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 2 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. It slots into a standard 19-inch rack in a 1U footprint, without any special hardware, runs on ac input power, and follows standard front-to-back airflow for predictable cooling.
