It brings 28 total network ports, laid out as 20xGigabit EthernetPoE,RJ-45 and 2xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 2xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC), topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. On top of that, it has SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. With 32 (MB) of onboard flash, firmware and configuration backups don't depend on a remote server. Layer 2 operation keeps the design lean - MAC-table forwarding and VLANs, without routing overhead.
