- HP OfficeConnect 1910-24G (JE006A) is the switch IT teams supporting network cores and aggregation layers feeding busy server racks often turn to when they need something that just works. This model fits data center and server-room deployments: virtualization hosts, NAS and SAN backbones, render farms and AI/ML training nodes that move large volumes of data between servers. It also works well as an aggregation switch feeding traffic up from access-layer switches. It brings 28 total network ports, laid out as 24xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 4xGigabit EthernetSFP (mini-GBIC),Uplink, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. It also adds SFP (mini-GBIC) expansion for uplinks. Firmware and configuration live in onboard non-volatile memory, surviving reboots and power cycles.
