- HP FlexNetwork 5130 48G 4SFP+ EI (JG934A#ABA) is built to handle IT teams building out server, NAS and storage backbones without drama. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. It also works well aggregating traffic from smaller access-layer switches. On the port side, you get 52 total network ports, laid out as 48xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 4x10 Gigabit EthernetSFP+,Uplink/Stacking, topping out at 10GbE per port. Beyond the base ports, there's SFP+ expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 512 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. For installation, it's rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, compatible with standard 19-inch racks, runs on ac input power, and moves air standard front-to-back airflow for straightforward rack cooling. Also, built-in console access makes setup and firmware recovery easier; twisted pair,optical fiber media over SFP+ covers both copper and fiber runs.
