- HP Aruba CX 8325-32C (JL627-61001) is built to handle teams scaling out AI/ML training clusters that need fast east-west links without drama. This model fits data center and server-room deployments: virtualization hosts, NAS and SAN backbones, render farms and AI/ML training nodes that move large volumes of data between servers. It also works well as an aggregation switch feeding traffic up from access-layer switches. Wiring is handled by 32 total network ports, laid out as 32x100 Gigabit EthernetQSFP28, topping out at 100GbE per port. It also adds QSFP28 expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 8 (GB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. Layer 3 routing handles inter-VLAN traffic and static or dynamic routes on the switch itself. On the compatibility side, it's rack-mount, in a 1U footprint, a 19-inch rack fit, takes ac input power, and uses rear-to-front airflow to match common data-center airflow layouts. Also, built-in console access plus a USB port makes setup and firmware recovery easier; optical fiber media over QSFP28 covers both copper and fiber runs.
