HP Aruba Instant 1930-48G-4SFP/SFP+ (JL685A#ABB) is a strong, no-nonsense fit for organizations running virtualization clusters, NAS arrays or render farms that need low-latency, high-bandwidth links. Data centers and server rooms running virtualization hosts, NAS/SAN backbones, render farms or AI/ML training nodes are the natural fit, since all of them move heavy traffic between servers. Wiring is handled by 52 total network ports, laid out as 48xGigabit EthernetRJ-45 and 4x10 Gigabit EthernetSFP+,Uplink, topping out at 10GbE per port. Because it supports Layer 3 routing, inter-VLAN traffic and routing tables can live on the switch instead of a separate router. It also adds SFP+ expansion for uplinks. Onboard flash storage of 256 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. It slots into a standard 19-inch rack in a 1U footprint, without any special hardware, runs on ac input power, and follows standard front-to-back airflow for predictable cooling.
