  • HP OfficeConnect 1810-8 v2 (J9800A#ACD) is the switch IT teams supporting home offices and small businesses that just need reliable plug-and-play connectivity often turn to when they need something that just works. It's well suited to growing offices and branch sites that need managed features - VLANs, QoS, basic monitoring - without the cost or complexity of a full data-center switch. Wiring is handled by 8 total network ports, laid out as 7xFast EthernetRJ-45 and 1xGigabit EthernetRJ-45, topping out at Gigabit (1GbE) per port. It also adds a fixed-port design that keeps configuration simple. Onboard flash storage of 8 (MB) keeps firmware and config backups local to the switch. Layer 2 switching keeps things fast and simple: MAC-address forwarding and VLAN segmentation. It slots into a standard 19-inch rack in a 1U footprint, without any special hardware, runs on ac input power, and follows standard front-to-back airflow for predictable cooling.
